Labor Day weekend at Bill Weaver Arena

Sat., Sept. 5 and Sun., Sept. 6
Post Date:August 05, 2026 10:00 a.m.

Celebrate Labor Day weekend in rodeo style as the City presents the Let’s Get Western bull riding event, and Fiesta Charra, at Bill Weaver Arena, 101 Parkway Drive.

Heavy rains back in May forced the postponement of both events.

This event is presented by the City of Lewisville and Vanguard GMC of Carrollton. It features the Elite Pro Bull Riders Team Series - Young Guns and Legends, inflatable attractions for kids, and beer, wine, and food concessions. Big City Outlaws will perform before the bull riding starts and during breaks in the action when results from the preliminary rounds of competition are tallied.

Tickets for Let’s Get Western Bull Bash are $20 General Admission, $10 Kids ages 6-12. Tickets are available online at ticketleap.com.

Featured activities include Ballet Folklorico, Escaramuza Charra (a synchronized horse skirmish), a horse dancing show, pony rides, Luche Libre wrestlers, and a jalapeno eating contest.

Musical acts include Sol D La Kumbia, Andrea “Gotita,” Quimikoz Del Son, and Aroma Notena Cultural dance performances by Ballet Folklorico, and Escaramuzas Cielto Lindo.

Limited public parking at the rodeo grounds will be available for $10 cash. Attendees also can park along the street where it’s legally permitted; at North Point Church, 422 N. Mill Street; and at Lewisville City Hall, 151 W. Church Street. A free shuttle service will be running 3-11 p.m. from the east parking lot of City Hall.
