Fairy Tales, Fables and Folklore 
Presented by the Visual Art League of Lewisville
June 13- July 11

Fairy Tales, Fables and Folklore encourages Visual Art League of Lewisville members to explore the stories that shaped us as we grew up. Whether these are stories we made up to pass the time or teach a lesson, or merely a story passed down from our ancestors, stories shape the world around us. Some artists are even bringing their own tales to life in new, exciting ways.

From whimsical illustrations to imaginative sculptures and creations, the artists are encouraged to delve into the world of fantasy to reflect on their own memories and creative origins.

The exhibition runs June 13-July 11 in the Educational Hallway Gallery. Gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and during evening public events at the Lewisville Grand Theater. 

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
