Join us for a Musical Theatre Workshop with our experienced YATP faculty on Saturday, Feb. 28, or Saturday, April 18, from 9-11 a.m. at the Lewisville Grand Theater.

Thanks to a grant from our generous sponsors, this event is offered to youth/teens in 5th-10th grades (other ages considered on a case-by-case basis) for FREE, but advance online registration is required, and spaces are limited to ONE workshop date per student. 

We will close workshop when capacity is reached to ensure appropriate teacher/student ratios. The workshop is taught by YATP Master Teachers and Industry Professionals! Best suited for serious young artists who are considering a career in the arts.

Enjoy this jam-packed, high-energy, "Day in the Life" of a conservatory artist with us to grow your skills and dive into your craft! Musical theatre dance, acting, and vocal tech will be covered during this workshop which will be a great workout for all levels of students. Dress comfortably with closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes, and tie long hair back.

The Grand is Lewisville's home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Please be aware that there is heavy road construction at the Main Street interchange with 35E that will cause delays.
