Cancelled - "Godspell"

Due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 disease outbreak, the City of Lewisville has cancelled all events scheduled through May 10 at the MCL Grand. The MCL Grand is working with event presenters to reschedule some of these events. Please contact the event presenter directly with any questions.

 

godspell TGodspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden); and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit, “Day by Day,” Godspell features a parade of beloved songs, including “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” “Learn Your Lessons Well,” “All for the Best,” “All Good Gifts,” “Turn Back, O Man” and “By My Side.” Presented by Our Productions Theatre Co. and The Young Artist Training Program.

Boasting a score with chart-topping songs by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak), Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences.

Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 25 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Ticket Information:

Tickets go on-sale in March and are $25 general admission, $20 for seniors, and $15 for students, children and industry members. Tickets are non-refundable, and exchangeable through email ticket link up to 24 hours prior to performance time. VIP reserved seating is for Donor Members by level. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount. Visit ourproductionstheatreco.org for tickets.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Lewisville, MCL Grand is the premier public arts facility in Southern Denton County. The 40,000-square-foot facility features a 296-seat proscenium theater, black box theater, dance recital hall, art gallery, five art classrooms and a large courtyard. Medical City Lewisville has a multi-year agreement with the city for naming rights at the center.

To reach MCL Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. MCL Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
