Castle Hills Fall Festival

The Annual Castle Hills Fall Festival is returning to the Castle Hills Village Shops on Saturday, October 26, 5-8 p.m. The event offers fall-themed, family-friendly activities and a chili cook-off for the whole family. Admission to the festival is FREE and everyone is welcome! The Village Shops is located at 2520 King Arthur Blvd. in the Castle Hills community in Lewisville
This year’s festival will feature bounce houses, carnival games, face painters, a balloon artist, a trackless train, costume trunks and photo booths, giveaways, fall arts & crafts hosted by Design Time art studio, and more. Pumpkins will be available to purchase and decorate for $5 from the pumpkin patch, with proceeds benefitting the Hebron High School Choir. The exotic petting zoo returns and this year features a baby llama. A DJ will keep everyone entertained and take-out concessions will be available for purchase from several Village Shops retailer locations as well as a popular local food truck.
T.B.D. Kitchen, the Village Shops’ craft brewery, will host the event’s 3rd Annual Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off, sponsored by the Castle Hills HOA. All Fall Festival guests may purchase a $5 ticket at the event to taste the dishes and vote for the winners.
Guests are encouraged to come to the Village Shops early to enjoy dinner, drinks or desserts from the Shops’ unique retailers. Pop into Sophia’s’ Kitchen for a pumpkin chai latte or neighborhood brewery T.B.D. Kitchen for a Gingerbread Monster, a seasonal imperial porter brewed with ginger and nutmeg. Start your evening with a Cranberry Walnut Salad from The Grind Burger Bar enjoy a caramel apple crisp dessert crepe from Yoyo Berri. Other Village Shops restaurants include PI.E 3.14 Everyday Eatery, which serves hand-tossed specialty pizzas; Kanzi Sushi & Hibachi, which offers traditional Japanese cuisine including fresh sushi; and Ramen Izakaya Akira for traditional noodle dishes.
The Village Shops is a one-acre-plus site featuring tree-shaded walkways, gardens and numerous water features, including the very popular interactive water fountain and shaded outdoor seating.
