Labor Day Rodeo

Rodeo 

Lewisville Saddle Club, with support from the City of Lewisville, will hold its 53rd annual Labor Day Rodeo Sept. 1-3, beginning at 8 p.m. each day at the Lewisville Rodeo Arena, 101 Parkway Drive.

Admission is $8 for adults and $6 children 12 and under, children 4 and under are free, free admission for active military.  Tickets are available for purchase at the event.

The rodeo will feature Bareback Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, UPRA Barrel Racing, Junior Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin’, Saddle Bronc Racing, Tie-Down & Break-Away Roping, Team Racing, Kids Calf Scramble, and Ladies Steer Scramble.

The entertainment group this year is Robert Edward “Rob” Smets, known professionally as “The Kamikaze Kid.” Smets is an American color commentator for the Professional Bull Riders tour, a former five-time Wrangler World Champion bullfighter, ProRodeo Hall of Fame Inductee in 2006, the only 5-Time World Champion Bullfighter, a 17-time National Finals Rodeo Bullfight Qualifier and a 6-time NFR Bullfighter.

Also at the event will be a concession stand, vendors, and fun activities for kids and adults.
