Weekly open jam and song circle. All acoustic instruments and levels are welcome. All music genres are welcome. Acoustic Fridays are sponsored by the Visual Art League of Lewisville.
The Visual Art League (VAL) provided support and promotion to visual artists from Lewisville and surrounding areas, and operates a public gallery where those artists can display and sell their work. Special exhibits are scheduled throughout the year and at supporting businesses. Additionally, the Visual Art League provides art education in the form of classes, lectures, slide presentations, field trips and demonstrations.

The Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market, a seasonal open-air forum for Denton County and North Texas-grown products, will be from May 15 through October 30 (no market on September 25). The market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Old Town Lewisville. Vendors still are being sought to sell fresh produce and similar items at the weekly market.

Celebrating Grandparents and History
This market day there will be a classic car display where market visitors can vote on a People's Choice Favorite. There will also be local representatives from organizations that offer activities that grandparents and grandchildren can enjoy together.
Congratulations to the winner of the July Car Display and the Motorcycle Show in August. Be sure and join us on Saturday, September 18 for the second car show and Saturday, October 9 for a second Motorcycle Show. Registration for both of these shows can be done prior by emailing Melinda Stephens at mstephens@cityoflewisville.com or you can register the day of the show.

Join Keith Lockhart as he guides visitors to the best birding locations at the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area. Some of the best spots are not normally available to the public, outside of a scheduled tour.
Birders of all skill levels are welcome, ages 10 and up. Reservations are required; call 972-219-7980.
The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area is 2,000-acres of prairies, forests, and wetlands managed as a wildlife preserve by a group of agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the University of North Texas, the City of Lewisville, Lewisville ISD, and Texas A & M University. Our mission is to preserve and restore our native ecosystems and to provide and promote environmental education and scientific research. LLELA is open to the public every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for fishing, hiking, camping, bird watching, kayaking/canoeing, picnicking, and other outdoor activities.

The North Texas Mustang Club and Cracker Barrel team up again this year to present their Cruise Night at the Lewisville Restaurant located. Nineteen classes for all cars and trucks, forty + awards including Cracker Barrell's Manager's Choice. Participant judging and trophies in each of the classes. Dash plaques for the first 50 entries. Registration is from 5:30pm-7pm with awards around 8:30pm. There will be music and great food and lots of fun so bring the family! The benefit held at the Old Town Flying Pig Bar and Grill will start at 1pm and last until closing time for the Flying Pig. Enjoy Wishbone BBQ from 2pm - pm, smoked brisket, sausage and chicken. Plates will be $8. These will be several bands playing throughout the day, a silent auction, bikini wash and the 911 Tribute Bike will be on display.
Veteran Falls is a 290' waterfall, being constructed in Granbury, Texas. It is a tribute to all who have
ever served in America's military, and is being dedicated as a memorial to those who gave their lives
while protecting our freedom and fighting the war against terrorism.
