Central Park was developed in 1986 as Lewisville’s Sesquicentennial Park, celebrating 150 years of independence for the Republic of Texas. Located on Edmonds lane immediately adjacent to the North Bank of Timber Creek, the park contains 39.5 acres.  Facilities include two picnic pavilions, restrooms, two wood seating decks, band shell, playground, picnic tables, hike and bike trail that is approximately 1 mile in length.
