First Baptist Church of Hebron
Texas Historical Marker First Baptist Church, Hebron, a historic congregation, has contributed much to the heritage of the area and provides significant service and leadership to the residents of this part of Denton County.

Flower Mound Chamber Orchestra
The Flower Mound Chamber Orchestra provides area residents a vehicle for the performance and enjoyment of classical music. The orchestra is composed of local-area musicians who volunteer their time and considerable talents.

Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre
Flower Mound's Performing Arts Theatre is dedicated to promoting the performing arts in North Texas through education and performance opportunities and by providing a permanent home for both amateur and professional local artists.

Fort Worth Zoo
The Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top family attractions in the Lewisville/DFW area. The oldest zoo in Texas, the Fort Worth Zoo is home to Great Apes, meerkats, rhinos, white tigers, native Texas wildlife, Komodo dragons and one of America’s largest reptile collections.

LakeCities Ballet Theatre
The LakeCities Ballet Theatre offers local audiences the opportunity to experience world renown visiting guest artists and provides a venue for student dancers to perform and train with professional choreographers and dancers.

Lakeland Antiques & Crafts
Lakeland Antiques & Crafts offers hours of browsing and shopping pleasure with more than 100 antiques and crafts vendors, plus a full-service tea room.

Lake Park Golf Course
Lake Park Golf Course, an 18-hole layout, is set on the beautiful banks of Lake Lewisville, and includes Bermuda grass greens, gently rolling terrain and a beautiful clubhouse.

Lakeside Community Theatre
Lakeside Community Theatre produces four to six full-length plays per year with selections that include comedies, dramas, musicals, mysteries and children's theatre.

Land O’ Lakes Quilt Guild
Land O’ Lakes Quilt Guild is a non-profit educational organization that meets monthly for “how-to” demonstrations, mini-workshops and other activities.

Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church
Texas Historical Marker
Anthony Hembry and six charter members, all former slaves, organized Lewisville Colored Methodist Episcopal (C. M. E.) Church in 1882. Lewisville had the largest African American population in Denton County and this church, called Lane Chapel after 1902.

Lewisville Feed Mill
Lewisville Heritage Marker
Opened in 1886, the Lewisville Feed Mill is the city’s oldest continuously operating business. Today the entire Feed Mill building is filled with memorabilia from past generations of Lewisville residents, much of it on public display.

Lewisville Fishing Barge
Lewisville Fishing Barge offers both outdoor and climate-controlled indoor fishing for the entire family. Available services include tackle and bait, guided fishing tours, snacks and beverages, and bread for the local geese and ducks.

Lewisville Lake Park
Lewisville Lake Park is situated on 350 acres of lakefront land and features include overnight and day camping sites, picnic areas, swimming beaches, playgrounds, youth athletic fields and a state-rated disc golf course.

Lewisville Lake Symphony
The Lewisville Lake Symphony has grown into a successful orchestra with over 50 highly talented, paid-professional musicians and is widely regarded as one of the best regional symphony orchestras in Texas.

Lewisville Prehistoric Site

Texas Historical Marker
Lewisville Prehistoric Site artifacts were unearthed during the construction of Lewisville Dam in 1950. Tthe organic material is approximately 12,000 years old and discoveries are similar in age and content to findings at the Clovis site in New Mexico.

Lewisville Well House
Lewisville Historical Marker
Lewisville ’s first municipal building, the Lewisville Well House, was constructed in 1927 for a new water well. The building, which also housed the town’s fire truck, has been used for a variety of City offices such as the Police Station, and was remodeled in 1996.

LLELA ( Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area)
LLELA covers more than 2,000 acres of pristine wilderness at the base of Lewisville Dam and is open for primitive camping, canoeing and kayaking on the Trinity River, hiking, fishing and more.

Main Event
Located in the heart of the Vista Ridge shopping district, activities include bowling, billiards, video arcade, laser tag, glow-in-the-dark golf and snack bar.

McCurley Cemetery
Texas Historical Marker
McCurley Cemetery adjoins Old Hall Cemetery, burial place of George C. McCurley.

Milliken House
Texas Historical Marker
The Milliken House was built by William Dickerson Milliken in 1878. The framing is native oak and siding was freighted from Port City of Jefferson, in East Texas. The Milliken House was recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1969.

Musical Feast Choral Society
The Musical Feast Choral Society of Greater Lewisville performs three major choral concerts and a variety of smaller concerts throughout the year. The Musical Feast strivess to provide superior choral music for public enjoyment.

Old Hall Cemetery
Texas Historical Marker
The Old Hall Cemetery contains over one hundred twenty-five burials from the nineteenth century. A cemetery association, organized in 1972, maintains the historic graveyard. Texas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986.

Old Town Aquatic Park
Old Town Aquatic Park , geared toward families with smaller children, features slides, splash zones, float channels and picnic areas.

Old Town Lewisville

Peters Colony
Texas Historical Marker
Peters Colony is a reservation of land first established under an Empresario contract by the Republic of Texas in 1841 to introduce colonists into the area. Today, the area extends over five counties and encompasses one-fourth of the state's population.

Pier 121 Marina
Pier 121 Marina, located on the south side of Lewisville Lake and alongside East Hill Park, offers boat rentals and 40 acres of picnic tables and open space. Charlie’s Restaurant and Club, a floating restaurant, offers the best in lakeside dining.

Ranch of Lonesome Dove
Located on 63 wooded lakefront acres and overlooking Lake Grapevine, the Ranch of Lonesome Dove is ideal for meetings, company picnics, parties, reunions, weddings and more.

Sandy Lake Amusement Park
Sandy Lake Amusement Park features a large pool, miniature golf, amusement rides, paddleboats and concessions.

Smith Cemetery
Texas Historical Marker
The Smith Cemetery currently contains more than 400 marked graves and an unknown number of unmarked ones. The cemetery remains in use by the community and by descendants of the pioneer families interred here.

Sneaky Pete’s Resort
Sneaky Pete’s Resort is a l akeside facility offering a full-service restaurant and bar, beach area, outdoor swimming pool, sand volleyball, boat slips and more. Live music is featured on the weekends.

Studio B

Texas Stadium
Texas Stadium is the Lone Star State’s favorite NFL football stadium. The long-time home stadium of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Stadium will host Dallas Cowboys football games until the Texas football team moves into its new stadium during the 2009 NFL season.

Theatre Coppell
Theatre Coppell is a non-profit theatre arts organization that produces and stages five shows per season, starting in the fall of each year and concluding every summer with a musical production.
